Fee Structure

Fee

  • 18% of the position's first year estimated base salary

Term

  • Due within 30 days of employee's start date 

Expenses

  • Expenses billed as incurred
  • No expenses will be incurred without prior approval
  • General expenses include field interviews and candidate travels
  • 1% telecommunications fee also applies

 

Phase 1

  • Develop comprehensive candidate specification to benchmark candidates
  • Construct inclusive target list of candidates through meticulous research and personal contacts
  • Interview potential candidates via phone
  • Provide regular updates on strategy, candidates, and market conditions

 Phase II

  • Screen slate of possible candidates to develop list of leading candidates
  • Present evaluation of candidates to Client Organization
  • Field interview and conduct preliminary reference and education checks of promising candidates
  • Assist Client Organization in selection and negotiation of selected candidate

Our average time-to-fill is typically 30-45 days. Fill performance is a function of both Highland & Associates' ability and client preparedness.

Week 1

  • Receive assignment
  • Conduct phone interviews
  • Develop approved position and candidate specifications
  • Recruit and screen
  • Provide client updates

Weeks 2-3

  • Develop slate of candidates
  • Conduct detailed interviews and referencing
  • Provide client updates

Weeks 4-5

  • Select top candidates
  • Schedule and conduct interviews
  • Perform second interviews
  • Aid contract negotiation and complete search
